Der Verbraucherpreisindex (VPI) misst die Ver\u00e4nderung der Preise von Waren und Dienstleistungen aus der Sicht des Verbrauchers.\u00a0Es ist ein wichtiges Mittel, um Ver\u00e4nderungen der Kauftrends und der Inflation zu messen.\u00a0Die Bank of Canada strebt eine Inflationsspanne (1%-3%) an.\u00a0Im Allgemeinen wird ein hoher Wert als Vorwegnahme einer Zinserh\u00f6hung angesehen und ist positiv (oder bullisch) f\u00fcr den CAD.
